Elite Syncopations is one of Scott Joplin’s most elegant and refined rags. This marimba arrangement preserves the characteristic syncopation, harmonic clarity, and buoyant stride feel of the original piano version while translating it idiomatically to the marimba.
The arrangement is designed specifically for four-mallet marimba playing, with flowing stickings, clear voicing, and a strong emphasis on melodic projection.
